in the words of the immortal Joe Walsh, lifes been good to me so far.

good job change 4 months ago. I get to do what I enjoy most.
it's allowed me a bit more flexibility in the toys arena - most of
which are low cost techie things such as the raspberry pi, a decent
receiver (icom ic-r20), a dual band ht, and a portable pen test kit.
I was hoping to rate one of ossmanns jawbreakers, but with several
thousand applying in the first hours for a free beta, I just was too late.
Perhaps a purchase when they go commercial.

On the way is an hf rfid read/write piece of hardware that I hope goes
well with the pen test toys.

Arm.slackware.com has been good on the pi - it would make a nice
portable rfid base.

just caught the kitten chewing through a second iphone5 charge cable -
I'll bet she does it just for the tingle.  4 more on the way - that should last a week.
